Sick & Shut-In Ministry

We provide spiritual support, and emotional guidance to the members of the church that are sick and shut-in by making visits to the home, or nursing home at least once a month.

Our efforts are focused on establishing a Christian relationship which helps to promote open communication by engaging the SASI member in scripture reading, prayer, and singing as well as to listen to the member talk about whatever he/she wishes to discuss.

We also support each other as sisters and brothers in Christ’s Ministry, and we welcome new members who are passionate about serving the sick.
With God’s help we will continue to strive to new and greater heights towards our mission.

What We Do

Visit those that are Sick & Shut in at home or in nursing homes.
Reach out to members to let them know we are thinking of them.
Ensure those that are unable to attend Sunday morning service receive communion.
Ensure the sick & shut-in members receive Thanksgiving Dinner; give away fruit baskets during the Christmas season
