"I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." Psalm 37:26 (KJV)

Who Are We?
S.C.A.M.P. works with all senior Convent Avenue Baptist Church members that are 80 years of age and over. We assure them that Convent is still interested in them as a viable members of our community physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.
S.C.A.M.P. Benefits
Senior Citizen Advocacy & Monitoring Program members are given a voice in the church and community. Scamp'ers are receiving more attention and invitations during different church events because of this. We also act as a sounding board for senior concerns and if necessary their contact with the church. They know their church cares. If they have any social service needs the church is here to provide information and/or referrals.
S.C.A.M.P. also hosts an Annual Golden Gospel Brunch in which all members and advocates fellowship together.
