COVID-19 RESPONSE
Dear Convent Avenue Baptist Church Family and Friends,
We pray that each of you and your families are staying safe during this time. Please
know that I am praying for and with each of you every day. Let us to continue to lift our
church members who have impacted by COVID-19, as well as those that have been
serving on the front lines as healthcare workers, essential workers and first responders
during this time. I am so pleased to share that our church came together to help our
community as a temporary COVID-19 testing site, reopened the food pantry, distributed
food to first responders and health care workers, and distributed over 5,000 masks.
The Hamilton Grange Senior Center, which is run out of our building has moved to meal
delivery ONLY due to COVID. If you are a NYC resident, sign up by calling 311.
Please stay home if you are able, take care of yourself and those around you, and
continue to pray because we serve a Great God, who is very much with us. We are
praying for a swift resolution to this pandemic, and the healing of all who have been
affected by it. We ask that you join us in prayer for our World, the USA, the State of
New York, the City of New York, the Village of Harlem and the Convent Avenue Baptist
Church family.
We are #ConventStrong!
With you on God’s mission,
Pastor Williams
