Sick & Shut-In

Our goal is to keep in contact with all our members who are sick and shut-in via phone and or home/nursing home visits to assure the shut-ins that their church is still interested in both their physical, and spiritual well being.

Duties/Responsibilities include:

• Conduct home and nursing home visits at least once per month
• Report each visit to the church regarding the physical, emotional, and spiritual well being of the shut-ins
• Ensure that the shut-ins spiritual, medical, and social needs are met;(communion served, church attendance, assist with medical appointment, and social service supports)
• Prepare and submit visitation report
• Provide weekly updates on shut-ins for the Echo
