Prayer Ministry
Philippians 4:6
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made know unto God."
Mission: To provide inspiration, guidance and assurance to the congregation and community through prayer and God’s word by implementing the following:
- Weekly scriptural passages in the Echo for the congregation to mediate on or memorize.
- Plan prayer ministry events such as breakfasts, call for congregational fasts, etc. during the year for encouragement to all.
- Remind the congregation of God’s power and presence by decorating the bulletin board in the walkway.
- Make plans to reinstate the prayer telephone line.
- Remind the congregation of the availability of the church prayer room.

Serenity Prayer
God grant me the Courage to change the things I can change,
the Serenity to accept
those I cannot change,
And the Wisdom to
know the difference.
But God, grant me the
courage not to give up on what I think is right,
even though I think it is hopeless.
